Você quer ganhar muito dinheiro na bolsa (e já que estamos falando, em qualquer outro investimento)? Tem 2 regras essenciais e infalíveis que poucos investidores seguem mas que garantem a base do sucesso de todo investidor que as aplica. Perceba que estou falando da base. O passo número 1. Aquele sem o qual você não vai sair do lugar. E já vou lhe contar quais são as regras.
Antes pense sobre isto: você já viu como se constrói um arranha-céu? Eles nunca começam a construir levantando vigas acima do chão. Eles fazem um buraco enorme na terra. Quanto maior for ser o prédio maior terá que ser o buraco. Dentro do buraco são colocadas vigas, cimento e alicerces que suportarão o peso enorme que vai ser colocado acima. Depois enterram tudo, e o único que você vê é o prédio. O motivo é simples: se a base não for sólida o prédio com certeza cairá e causará uma grande destruição ao seu redor.
Quando investimos estamos construindo um prédio, quanto maior melhor. Mas para isso não devemos (podemos, mas não devemos) sair investindo em qualquer coisa. Precisamos começar com uma base sólida que nos garanta que tudo que fizermos no futuro estará bem sustentado.
E é aqui que entram as 2 primeiras regras do investidor de sucesso. As 2 regras do Warren Buffett, o melhor e mais sucedido investidor da história. Sugiro que você as anote e as coloque na geladeira, em sua carteira ou em qualquer lugar que você olhar todo dia. São as seguintes:
Regra número 1: Nunca perca dinheiro.
Regra número 2: Nunca esqueça a regra número 1.
Simples, não é? Como você pode ganhar dinheiro se fica perdendo-o continuamente? Se as chances de você perder dinheiro num investimento são grandes, lhe garanto que você perderá mais vezes e em maior quantidade do que ganhará.
A base para ser um investidor de sucesso é ter a mentalidade adequada (se quiser parecer moderno e impressionar seus amigos pode chamar de “mindset”). Mas qual é a mentalidade adequada? É a seguinte:
1. Não seja frívolo: valorize seu dinheiro.
2. Não aposte: só invista quando suas chances de ganhar forem altas.
3. Não entre num investimento com aquela atitude arrogante de “não tem problema se eu perder”.
4. Informe-se: saiba no que você está investindo.
5. Faça sua tarefa de casa: estude bem aquele investimento antes de tomar uma decisão.
Resumindo: nunca entre num investimento preparado para perder.
Você pode pensar que uma coisa é dizer e outra fazer. E estará certo. Nunca vou cansar de dizer que investir corretamente é simples, mas não é fácil. Não é para ser fácil.
