1. Nunca almoce sozinho (Keith Ferrazzi)
O livro mais prático que já li sobre networking. Keith Ferrazzi fala sobre a importância de desenvolver uma extensa rede de contatos e dá dicas e conselhos práticos sobre como fazê-lo. Em 2012 Keith vai lançar uma edição revisada do livro. Na minha opinião é leitura obrigatória para qualquer pessoa. Pode comprá-lo aqui em inglês ou aqui em português.
2. Faça como Steve Jobs (Carmine Gallo)
Um livro bem interessante e prático sobre como preparar apresentações e palestras. O foco do livro não é como falar em público, mas como criar apresentações de forma adequada tomando como exemplo um dos melhores palestrantes do mundo: Steve Jobs. Depois que você leia o livro começará a olhar todas as palestras com um olho muito mais crítico.
3. Dinero, crédito bancario y ciclos económicos (Jesus Huerta de Soto)
O economista espanhol Jesus Huerta de Soto explica neste livro como a expansão artificial do crédito é a causa dos ciclos econômicos. O livro é interessante, apesar do seu comprimento, porque explica muito bem a evolução dos ciclos e a teoria austríaca do capital (os bens de capital), muito útil para saber ler o estado real da economia e tomar decisões empresariais. Pode baixar aqui a versão completa em espanhol e aqui a versão completa em inglês.
4. The art of start (Guy Kawasaki)
O clássico de Guy Kawasaki sobre como começar um negócio ou qualquer outra coisa que você tenha em mente começar. Didático e prático é um desses livros que não decepcionam. Aqui pode dar uma olhada no índice e no primeiro capítulo em inglês. A versão em português se chama A arte do começo.
5. The four steps to the epiphany (Steve Blank)
Um livro altamente recomendado por praticamente todos os empreendedores de Silicon Valley. O assunto principal do livro é o desenvolvimento de negócios para um novo produto. Está na minha lista de livros e espero começar a ler ele em janeiro. Pode dar uma olhada nos três primeiros capítulos em inglês aqui.
